Due to the huge response nationwide for this program, there has been a delay in processing applications and meals will not be shipped until next week. Until they are delivered, please utilize Bossier Schools’ eight curbside pickup sites. Our grab-and-go program is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. If you know someone who cannot pick up their child’s meals, please provide the student’s name and school they attend and they will be given to you to deliver. Thanks for your patience and for being neighborly! Calling all military students! How about a virtual game of Capture the Flag? NICERC (National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center) is hosting a special challenge just for students at Barksdale and Minot Air Force Bases. This Capture the Flag challenge is an online event where students answer questions to earn points for their base. At the end of the event, a winning base will be announced and top scorers from each base will be recognized for their hard work. The challenge begins this Wednesday, April 22 at noon and ends Friday, April 24 at noon. The winning base and top scorers will be announced Friday afternoon. The more students that participate, the greater the chance of winning. Topics covered within the Capture the Flag Challenge include, but are not limited to: Programming Cybersecurity Louisiana and North Dakota State Facts Trivia Networks / Network Security Encryption Students will be given a link that they can use to log in to the event or they can find the event posted on nicerc.org/events/ctf .
